Kerry Katona's unborn baby has had a sex change in the womb. Well, sort of!

The reality TV star said in November she was expecting a boy with fiancé George Kay.

But when she went for her 20 week scan, she learned the truth.

She told OK! magazine: "I went for my 12 week scan and I was told there was an 86 per cent chance it was a boy and even though you can't properly tell until 20 weeks, we took it as a definite. Then when we went for our 20 week scan, the doctors told us it was a girl. We were just in shock."

George said: "I didn't believe it. It was funny, when they were trying to check the sex, the baby rolled over and held up two fingers on the scan!"

He added: "We're having problems picking a girl's name. Mind you, we might pick the same name for our little girl as we'd chosen for the boy as it's a unisex name."

Kerry announced in September she was pregnant, saying at the time: "We've just found out we're having a baby – I'm three months' pregnant.

"I have food and a baby in my belly, the best friends in the world, a great job and I'm a very lucky girl. I'm very grateful."

Kerry already has four children - Molly, 12, and Lilly-Sue, 10, with Westlife's Brian McFadden, who she married in 2002 and Max, five, and Heidi, six, with second husband Mark Croft.
