974 Games Of Mario Played At Once (VIDEO)

What Does It Look Like If You Play Mario 974 Times, All At Once?
|

What would it look like if you had 974 people play the same level of Super Mario Bros against the clock - and then overlaid all the footage onto one video clip? Exactly like this.

The clip is the work of Maurice Guégan, who spent his Gamescom this year compiling the footage. Apparently the best run was timed at 41.32 seconds, with a three second penalty applied to anyone who died.

He added that more than 1,000 games would have been played, but the competition was so fierce there were too many resets by the end to complete many full runs.

"We would've had more, but at some point getting the high score became really serious business so there was probably about 1000 game resets after the first 3 jumps didn't work out."
