The MTV VMA's are one of the most fun fashion calendar events because to the untrained eye, it appears as if it is sack-the-stylist night.
That doesn't mean bad fashion - it just means the celebs in attendance tend to take more risks than they normally would.
The result: a lot more ingenuity and colour. But hey, we didn't say that ALL risks pay off.

Although the top looks like Spears slightly underestimated the power of her boobs, she looks flipping phenomenal in this metallic Labourjoisie number.

Yes, Teigen would look good even in a bin bag. But no, we are not fans of this Marchesa ruffle dress.
Sure, it's not awful, but something about it smacks of a rich, Martini-sozzled housewife and the sheer chiffon panels leading right up to and over her crotch isn't working for us.
