My Apartment: Zara Martin

My Apartment: Zara Martin
|

An hour before jetting off to Dubai with fellow girl about town Millie Mackintosh, Storm model and DJ Zara Martin warmly welcomed us into her St John's Wood home. A mixture of Middle Eastern furnishings, French flea market finds and a whole lot of leopard print, Zara's home is an inviting and richly decorated space that perfectly mirrors her exuberant personality and coveted dress sense.

How would you describe your interior style?

Leopard mania!

What has been the biggest influence on your interior style and dress sense?

Shania Twain! LOL.

You regularly DJ at events and fashion parties. How do you unwind when you get in or on a night off?

My favourite thing to do when I'm not working is eat! I love it when my best friend Jade (singer Whinnie Williams) comes over with Brian, the poodle, and we ruin our healthy dinners with way too many vodka cocktails...

Where are your favourite places to shop for yourself and home?

Kokon To Zai on Golbourne Road in London and Porte de Clignancourt Les Puces flea market in Paris.

You travel frequently for work. What's the most impressive interior you've ever visited?

I DJ'd the launch of the Four Seasons Hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan... That was something!

What do you love and hate about your area?

I love/hate how quiet it is but can't beat being so close to Regent's Park.

Can you describe your dream home?

Anything that looks like it fits into a Wes Anderson film.

Where do you see yourself living in 5 years time?

In Ladbroke Grove in London or on Sunset in LA. Ideally I will have a place in both those places... I sound like a massive wanker but here's hoping!!
