Ooooh: Rare Marilyn Images Go On Display At Getty Gallery

Calling all Marilyn Monroe fans! Getty Images Gallery is playing host to a collection of rare imagery, memorabilia and clothing in an exhibition dedicated to the icon.

Marilyn includes images from Getty's archives showing the star as an aspiring actress on the cusp of success. Add in a selection of original dresses and costumes worn by Monroe and original video clips and it's a must for anyone interested in her style and life story.

According to gallery director, Louise Garczewska, the show offers "unparalleled and rare access to Marilyn's life through the iconic imagery from Getty Images' extensive archival collection.

"David Gainsborough Roberts has kindly loaned us Marilyn's dresses which the public can see in London for the first time ever, making this exhibition a perfect tribute to one of Hollywood's greats."
