A teenager who posted a 'bucket list' or wish list online of things she wants to do before she dies of cancer has gone global after celebrity support on Twitter.

Alice Pyne, 15, has been fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma for four years. She posted a 'bucket list' of everything she wanted to before dying on an online blog, inspired by the 2008 film, The Bucket List, where terminally ill Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman go on a road trip with a list of things to do before 'kicking the bucket.' Her list is inspiring and moving.

Alice's list became one of the top 'trends' on social networking site, Twitter, with the hashtag (used on Twitter to bring attention to something) #alicebucketlist, with celebrities including Philip Schofield and Rio Ferdinand using it to promote Alice's list.

The global attention is helping Alice work through the things on her list, which include swimming with sharks, meeting Take That and entering her dog Mabel in a regional Labrador show.

The second item on her list is to get everyone to sign up to the bone marrow donor list, and the Twitter trending seems to be helping, with users urging each other to sign up on the site.

On her blog, Alice posted her original bucket list with the message:

'I've been fighting cancer for almost 4 years now and I know the cancer is gaining on me and it doesn't look like I'm going to win this one.

'Mum always tells me that life is what we make of it and so I'm going to make the best of what I have and because there were so many things I still wanted to do.'
