Unpublished Childhood Photos Of The Queen Released To Celebrate The Birth Of Prince George
|

Beautiful and previously unseen photos of the Queen as a child have been released to celebrate the arrival of Prince George.

The previously unpublished pictures will be included in a new official book to commemorate the birth of Prince George, who was born on July 22.

The charming black and white photos show the Queen on her Shetland pony, Peggy, in 1930, alongside her proud dad, the future King George. In another picture the Queen sits on a toy horse, and a third shows her at just five weeks old.

The last photo in the set shows the Queen toddling along at Balmoral with her grandmother, Queen Mary, and her mother.
