Two Teddy Bears Purchased 30 Years Ago Show The Difference Years Of Love Makes

This Is What A Well Loved Teddy Bear Looks Like

If you still have your teddy bear from when you were younger, you'll be able to identify with this photo.

A man has shared a touching photo showing his brother's bear that was bought 30 years ago and has been well-loved after, next to one bought at the same time that hasn't been touched.

The untouched teddy bear was being saved for his brother's first child.

The user on Reddit wrote: "When my brother was born in 1985, my mother purchased two identical teddy bears.

"The one on the left has been my brother's for 30 years, the one on the right has been kept in storage for my brother's first child."

The Reddit user's brother's child was born three weeks ago and is now the proud owner of the glossy, fluffy, untouched bear.

The two bears may once have been identical, but now you can barely see the resemblance..

The 'well-loved' bear has lost the red ribbon round its neck, lost much of the fluff from its body and has stretched out to become skinnier and taller.

Who knows, the newborn's teddy bear could look much like his dad's in another 30 years.

The photo sparked many childhood memories from other Reddit users about their own childhood bears.

One user wrote: "Brown Bear and I have snuggled together nightly for almost 26 years! I used to swing him by the arm and hit my brother in the face with his feet."

Another wrote: "I have one too, my guy is named Chocolate. My mum tells the story that when a family friend showed up with the bear, it was the first time I had smiled in over a day. He is actually still in my room, I'd say in fairly good shape, gotta get a picture of him when I get home."

Aww, you guys.
