BRCA1 Previvor, mastectomy at 30 currently awaiting ovary removal

Aimi Munro is a 'Previvor'. After dealing with the loss of her mother due to Cancer, she took the brave decision to be tested for the BRCA gene.

Having tested positive, Aimi took the decision to undergo preventative surgery and underwent a double mastectomy. She is currently working towards having preventative ovary removal in the near future.

Aimi now acts as a Boobette for the Coppafeel Charity (www.coppafeel.org) and works with other volunteers to bring awareness of the cause out into the open and help educate women about Breast and Ovarian Cancer.

Aimi is also a guest writer for The Glass House Girls.
