Born and raised in Phoenix/Tempe Arizona, a Grand Canyon University graduate, with southern and Creole roots; I am a singing, traveling, fun-loving church girl. Losing my mobility at the age of 32 due to undiagnosed Lipedema, and subsequently living in a nursing home threatening to take my life and everything I loved. Since finally receiving a diagnosis at age 35, I have been on a mission to educate myself and others about this rarely-diagnosed condition that affects so many who are suffering. I am in a fight to reclaim my mobility while doing the things that I love.
