Anne Heal

Anne Heal, formerly a BT executive specialising in strategy and regulation, is chair of Volunteering Matters, a trustee of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations and an ambassador for the Cabinet Office skills exchange programme. Anne led BT's employee volunteering scheme for several years, and doubled employee participation during this time. Anne is passionate about social action volunteering and its ability to bring communities together and tackle social exclusion. She is particularly interested in skills-based volunteering and finding innovative and effective ways for skilled workers to support charities and social enterprises.
