April Salchert is an U.S. American who has lived abroad in both Sweden and Korea. She completed her Master's Degree in English Literature at Uppsala University, Sweden. Her Master's Thesis focused on issues surrounding literary advocacy for marginalized communities and the effects on social-political world, specifically through the writings of J.M. Coetzee. April has recently returned home and is currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
