Athene Donald

Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Cambridge and First Women Awards 2013 nominee

Athene Donald is a Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Cambridge and, since October 2014, Master of Churchill College. She did her first and second degrees at Cambridge and then spent 4 years in the USA before returning to Cambridge. She researches physics at the interface with biology and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1999 and appointed a DBE for services to Physics in 2010.
