Jan Gilbert

Jan Gilbert is a freelance film journalist and presenter based in London. In 2012, she founded the movie & TV channel Flicks And The City. She's written, presented, and co-produced online entertainment shows for ITV and is resident film critic for regional BBC radio. When she's not on air or on screen, Jan can be found on stage chairing Q&As with actors and filmmakers. Among the many events she's hosted are a 2-hour career-spanning interview with director Stephen Frears, a BAFTA event for Made in Dagenham, and the annual Richard Attenborough Film Awards. Her work has also been published by BBC online, Ideas Tap, Orange, Cineworld, The List, Flipside magazine, and a variety of regional UK press among others.
