Jo Amy Gowers

Intersectional socialist feminist activist.

I'm a Londoner and sociology graduate from Queen's University Belfast, living back in my home town after three years in Ireland. I've been a Labour activist since I was 18, and have been involved with many political campaigns. I have been active within the Women's movement and activism generally with focus on reproductive rights, experience of women of colour, anti-colonialism, disability and mental health. I'm currently working as a support worker at a mental health charity on a voluntary basis after contracting several chronic illnesses.
