Ghostwriter

I’m from Newcastle upon Tyne in and I became a writer by accident… honestly! I have no formal writing qualifications and certainly nothing like a University or College education. I was on a long flight several years ago and I was bored, so I opened up my laptop and began to type. I’d had a strange dream the night before and when I woke I thought my dream would make a great thriller. I took to it like a duck to water and by the time the plane was coming into land I’d finished a 5000 word chapter. As I climbed down the aircraft steps I made myself a promise that I’d finish the book and I did. The book was called The Jack of Hearts and incredibly it was published by a small publisher in Oregon. I’m the author of three crime fiction novels and more than a dozen ghost-written books. I also have three books heading for the publishers next year. I have written two screenplays and was assistant screen writer on Do The Birds Still Sing In Hell? which was optioned in 2012. The movie pre-production starts next month.
