Founder and Chief Executive of Walk the Walk

Since walking the New York City marathon wearing decorated bras, raising £25,000 for breast cancer research in 1996, Nina Barough, CBE has been on an extraordinary journey. Her charity, Walk the Walk has raised nearly £90million million since it launched, with the money being granted to fund research into breast cancer, and to improve the lives of people who already have cancer. A cancer survivor herself, Nina has won accolades including Fundraiser of the Year at the Pride of Britain Awards and Good Housekeeping’s Outstanding Achievement Award. The annual MoonWalks – midnight walking marathons through the streets of London, Edinburgh and New York – continue to inspire and bring together thousands of people. Nina is married to Guy and lives in Berkshire with their 5 year old daughter Raphaelle.
