Sarah Bee

Sarah Bee was born in London within sound of Big Ben (which, according to her helpful friend, makes her a 'clockney') to an Englishwoman and an American poker champion. She started writing for the music press while still studying for her English degree, and went on to write all sorts of stuff for a huge variety of shifty customers.

Her writing has appeared in the Independent and the Guardian. Her article about her father and the NHS for NSFWCORP, 'This is How You Healthcare', lapped the internet twice, was tweeted by Neil Gaiman, featured on the front page of MichaelMoore.com and apparently made Danny Boyle cry (sorry, Danny).

She lives in Walthamstow with an old dog (at time of writing) and a new MacBook Air. Her first picture book, The Yes, is published by Andersen Press.
