Seth Berkley

Seth Berkley, CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, has been at the forefront of vaccines and disease control for over 30 years. He was one of the first researchers to recognize the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in Uganda and has consulted or worked in over 25 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Seth established, and led for 15 years, the public-private International AIDS Vaccine initiative. He joined Gavi in 2011 and is leading its drive to reach every child with life-saving vaccines.
