Deputy Chairperson of Gauteng Economic Freedom Fighters Student’ Command

Thabo Makwakwa is a student activist, revolutionary, writer and currently the Deputy Chairperson of Gauteng Economic Freedom Fighters Student’ Command. He is a student leader at the University of South Africa, servicing four Unisa centres in Gauteng (RSRC Undergraduate officer 2016/2018). In 2015, he served as a stakeholder committee member responsible for the collaboration and sharing of the campus between the University of South Africa and the Vaal University of Technology in Ekurhuleni. Thabo is also a contributor, publishing interactive and thought-provoking perspectives on News24.com, he has published other articles on Unisa magazine, YOUNISA.  Thabo Makwakwa holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Africa where he graduated in 2017. Currently, he is studying for Honours degree in Sociology.
