Live Review - Jessie J at The Roundhouse

After news that Jessie J will not be returning to the next series of 'The Voice' she stepped out into Camden's packed Roundhouse on Saturday 4th August looking more confident than ever.

As part of the Olympic city spirit and being an official worldwide partner to the games, Vitamin Water commissioned a free concert for Jessie J fans. As a global ambassador for the brand she oozes everything that it stands for. Creating an online game 'Musical Chairs', fans had the chance to play the interactive music video game in return for the chance to win tickets to the show. Jessie has a strong following from fans across the world. They are loyal, love what she stands for and back up every single she releases. Whether it's spreading her message via Facebook or Twitter, being at the very front or her tours or buying her music they are behind her every move.

The competition was a huge success. The result was a brimming crowd of her hungry 'Heartbeat' fans mixed with some of the capitals finest VIP's, sipping on Vitamin Water and a free bar as her voice filled the rafters.

Never one to hold back, her notes were crisp and her performance outstanding yet confidently relaxed. She shone in a short sparkly dress matched with neon laced up trainers. Belting out classic tracks "Who You Are", "Domino" and "Laserlight" as the likes of Ronnie Wood, Louis Spence, Kimberley Wyatt, Chipmunk and Deliah watched on from the balcony. Fresh from East London's Olympic park, members of the British team were also there to share the evening.

Jessie is someone who has worked hard to get where she is and the technicalities in her vocal performance prove just how hard work can get you to the top of your game. Showing that just what she preached on 'The Voice' she could put into practice, and more.

Jessie of late has been polished up for the American market and you can feel it in her music. Her raw roots are what makes her who she is and hope that this doesn't get lost in the manufacturing process. That aside, her songwriting and commercial appeal can never be knocked.

As confetti cannons exploded, fans sang at the top of their lungs and Jessie stood tall you can see why she is one of the UK's top female artists right now. Whether she is set to break America or to keep flying the UK flag here, you can see why Jessie is a role model for so many. Confident, bold and strong with the power and inner belief to drive her to wherever her heart beats.
