Why Some Beyoncé Fans Aren't Happy With Ivy Park

People are up in arms about the sizing.

Beyoncé's collaboration with Topshop, Ivy Park, was met with huge fanfare and worldwide excitement on its release last week.

But not everyone has only good things to say about the popstar's athleticwear brand.

Some of Bey's fans have taken to social media to air their complaints, most specifically about the range not catering to plus sizes.

Ivy Park is sold in sizes XXS - XL, the equivalent of Topshop's standard size range of UK 6 - 16, and some fans have pointed out that the pop star is not to blame for the decision.

Others who identified as plus size noted that the sizes run large and that they did feel it catered to them.

The range as a whole is still receiving positive reviews for its design and wearability - Elle US released the video below, showing four women trialling the range on their daily workouts.

One test-driver featured in the clip noted that the "well made" compression fabric made them feel strong, while still being breathable, while others said they could wear the range anywhere including out to lunch or to the airport.

"It's live-in activewear," one woman said.
