Britain's Got Talent: Magician Ben Hart And Singer Mark McMullen Make Final

They came out on top of the fourth live semi final.

Ben Hart and Mark McMullan are the latest contestants to reach this year’s Britain’s Got Talent final.

Magician Ben came out on top of the public vote during Thursday night’s penultimate semi final, after impressing viewers with an intimately staged trick.

He sailed straight through to the final as Ant and Dec announced the judges then had to choose between singer Mark and comic magician Graeme Matthews to join him in Sunday’s final.

David Walliams voted to send Graeme through, while Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden plumped for Mark.

Left with the deciding vote, Simon Cowell opted for Graeme so that it would level the score and revert to the public vote.

It was then revealed Mark had come second overall, earning him a place in the final.

Ben and Mark will be joining close-up magicians 4MG, the Flakefleet Primary School choir, canine act Dave & Finn, comic pianist Siobhan Phillips, singer Colin Thackery and Golden Buzzer comedian Kojo Anim on Sunday night’s grand finale.

The semi-finals have been pretty action-packed so far, with Alesha Dixon revealing she was pregnant during Monday night’s opening number, and fellow judge Amanda Holden accidentally dropping an f-bomb during a particularly frightening moment in one performer’s routine.

Thursday’s show also saw a furious Simon storm off the stage after being roped into a ventriloquist act.

The Britain’s Got Talent semi finals continue on Friday at 7.30pm on ITV.
