'Celebrity Big Brother' 2017 Line-Up: TOWIE's Danielle Armstrong Set For New Series

She'd be the latest in a long line of 'TOWIE' stars to enter the house.

The Only Way Is Essex’s Danielle Armstrong is the latest name rumoured to be heading into the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.

The reality TV regular is said to be among the ‘New Stars’ being lined up for the upcoming ‘Old Stars And New Stars’ series, which kicks off next month.

Having quit ‘TOWIE’ last month, The Sun has claimed she is hoping a stint in the Borehamwood bungalow will act as a springboard to other things.

A source told the paper: “Danielle has a big personality and would be a great asset to the house.

“She’s looking to branch out now her ‘TOWIE’ days are over and sees CBB as a great way to do this.

“Her fellow ‘TOWIE’ stars have managed to get their own shows after their stint in the house – she wants to do likewise.”

During her time on ‘TOWIE’, Danielle became known for her tumultuous relationship with James Locke, but the pair have now split for good.

Earlier this week, bosses confirmed the ‘Old Stars And New Stars’ theme, after months of speculation, as they also unveiled the new eye logo for the series.

Former ‘CBB’ contestants James Jordan, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and Perez Hilton are among those rumoured to be returning, while it looks like Bianca Gascoigne could be one of the other new faces heading into the house.

However, fans will have to wait until launch night to find out the identity of all of the housemates, but producers have promised “an explosion of fun and loud personalities which are sure to cause fireworks”.

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ returns to Channel 5 in January.
