Elderly South Korean Woman Who Went Missing In London Found 'Safe And Well'

An elderly South Korean tourist who went missing in London after becoming separated from her family while boarding a Tube train has been found.

Hoyeon Jang, 75, who does not speak English, has been last seen on Thursday at around 5pm getting on a Northern Line train to High Barnet at Embankment station, in central London.

The doors closed before her husband and son could board and, although they signalled for her to get off when it next stopped at Charing Cross, they were unable to find her when they arrived and reported her missing hours later.

She was found "safe and well" by officers in Stratford, east London, at 5.15pm, the Metropolitan Police said.
