While some stars use their credentials to get into swanky events and premieres, Foals had a better idea and successfully pulled off landing roles as extras in Game Of Thrones.

After this week’s record-breaking episode aired on Monday, drummer Jack Bevan and guitarist Jimmy Smith revealed that they actually featured in the Battle Of Winterfell.

Sharing a picture of himself looking suitably bloodied (and sporting a fantastic wig), Jack wrote: “Last February our manager @qprimemgmt managed to get a lovely crew of us all into the Battle of Winterfell. Sadly, I don’t think we survived the night.

“It really was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had. Cheers to the best show of all time!”

In the comments, he then added: “If anyone can find a screenshot with me in it I’ll buy them a bar of Dairy Milk.”

Alongside his post, Jimmy wrote: “Thanks for the wig bitches, Take a walk on the wildling side. Thanks for having me Game Of Thrones.”

There’s no word yet on if the duo’s other bandmates also made an appearance, but HuffPost UK has contacted their representatives for further comment.

This isn’t the first time the band have shown their love for Game Of Thrones, as the video for their January 2019 single, Exits, starred the Three Eyed Raven himself, Isaac Hempstead Wright.

The group have joined a long list of musicians who have popped up in Westeros – although like many Game Of Thrones fans, we’re still trying to forget Ed Sheeran’s campfire sing-along.
