Is It Time To Kiss Goodbye To Daylight Savings?

The practice of switching clocks was first introduced during World War One to save energy by prolonging evening daylight in summer. Since 2001, EU law has required all countries in the bloc to observe daylight saving time. But on 26 March 2019, EU lawmakers voted 410 to 192 in favour of scrapping the practice from 2021, and a lot of people are firmly on board with the idea.
