Jimmy Kimmel pointed out that Donald Trump once again skipped a Republican presidential debate.
Five GOP candidates met in Miami on Wednesday night: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and gadfly Vivek Ramaswamy.
“It’s a who’s who of who has no chance to beat Donald Trump,” Kimmel declared on his late night show, referring to the five as “dopefuls” instead of hopefuls.
“But it is ridiculous to have these debates without the front-runner,” he noted. “You know things have gone sideways when you’re watching something and you think, ‘God, I wish Donald Trump was there.’”
So, Kimmel gave Trump his own debate ― one where he’s battling himself.
“That’s like Melania’s worst nightmare come true,” Kimmel said after playing his spoof video, referring to Trump’s wife.
