Joe Perry ‘Stable’ After Being Taken Ill On-Stage During Hollywood Vampires' Concert

The guitarist has been transferred to a New York hospital.

Musician Joe Perry is in a stable condition after being taken ill on Sunday (10 July) night, his band Hollywood Vampires have confirmed.

The Aerosmith guitarist is currently on tour with the supergroup, which also includes Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper, and according to fans, and fan-filmed footage, he abruptly left the stage during the concert:

After being treated backstage, the emergency services were called.

The NYPD have confirmed to ABC News that Joe was taken to Coney Island Hospital, where he was listed as being stable, before being transferred to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, however, the cause of his ill-health has not been confirmed.

The group’s next scheduled date is on Tuesday 12 July, in Kettering, Ohio.

Hollywood Vampires formed last year, to honour musicians who died in the 1970s.

Their self-titled, debut album featured a number of high profile guests, including Paul McCartney and Dave Grohl.
