Love Island Flight Attendant Amy Hart Names Kirstie Allsopp As 'Worst Celeb Passenger'

She claimed the presenter tried to sneak her kids into business class.

Love Island contestant and former flight attendant Amy Hart has risked igniting a celebrity feud before she’s even made her first TV appearance, after naming Kirstie Allsopp as a difficult passenger.

The former British Airways worker claimed the Location, Location, Location presenter tried to blag business class seats for her children during a flight she was working on.

When asked to name the worst celebrity passenger, Amy said she even had to give Kirstie a telling off over her antics.

Speaking to journalists including HuffPost in Mallorca, Spain - the home of Love Island - Amy said: “I haven’t had any proper nightmares, but the only one was Kirstie Allsopp because she kept going up and down [between business and economy] with one kid and then coming back with two.

“There were lots of spare seats in business class and she kept coming back with two kids, and I was like no if you’ve booked three seats [in business class] then you’ve booked three seats.

“I was quite junior at the time so it was my manager who told me to, but I had to go over and tell them [that they couldn’t sit there].”

Kirstie has previously spoken of how she travels separately from her two sons, who sit in economy while she sits in business class.

Speaking to The Sun earlier this year, she said the idea of upgrading her boys was “an absurd waste of money”.

“When we fly as a family, the boys do fly separately from Ben [Anderson, her partner] and me if we’re not in economy together,” she said.

“Obviously this wasn’t the case when they were little but now they are big enough to sit separately, they do.

“Club Class should be a huge treat you’ve worked hard for. If kids get used to it, what do they have to work towards? It seems like an absurd waste of money and very spoiling.”

As for Amy’s favourite celebrity passenger, that title belongs to Piers Morgan.

“He’ll hate this because he doesn’t like Love Island, but if you forget everything he does on telly, my experience of him was a dad with his three boys, what a lovely family,” she said.

“He was just in a shorts and T-shirt and they’d been on a lads holiday to watch the cricket, and I said to him, ‘can I just say your books your books are some of the best I have ever read’, because I love an anecdote, and his books are full of them.

“One of his sons shouted at me, ‘you can’t have read many then’, and I was like, ‘yes I like you’, and I thought they were a good and fun family.”

Love Island begins on Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
