Anyone who’s been missing Love Island for the last week can breathe a sigh of relief, as this year’s series isn’t quite over yet.

Yes, we’ve already crowned the new winning couple and closed the doors to the villa for another year, but there’s still the small matter of the reunion episode, and all the awkwardness that comes with that.

ITV has unveiled teaser photos from this year’s special reunion, as well as details of what we should expect.

One still from the episode shows newly-crowned winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea touching down in Newcastle, where he will meet her family for the first time.

Later in the episode, Amber will be seen meeting up with her on-off partner Michael Griffiths for the first time since they both left the Love Island villa.

Elsewhere, we’ll get to see a loved-up Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins, while he’s also set to be confronted by his ex (well, half-ex) Amy Hart over the course of the episode too.

Plus, Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague go for a boxing sesh (seemingly putting those rift rumours to bed for the time being), while Danny Williams faces off with both Yewande Biala and Arabella Chi… all in front of his current girlfriend, Jourdane Riane.

One former Love Islander you won’t be seeing in the episode, however, is Sherif Lanre, who it was already confirmed would not be putting in an appearance.

Earlier in the series, Sherif and producers mutually agreed that he should leave the show, after accidentally kicking Molly-Mae in the groin, and later making a crass joke about it.

Love Island: The Reunion airs on ITV2 at 9pm on Sunday night.
