Man Leaves Bag Full Of Drugs On Tram, Along With His Name And Address

"Deal or no deal?"

A man has had an unlucky escape after he left a rucksack full of drugs on a Manchester tram – along with his full name and address.

The suspected drug dealer was roasted by GMP Trafford North, with the force putting out an appeal joking about reuniting the lost property with its owner.

The force posted a picture of the finding on Facebook, alongside the caption: “Police appeal to reunite lost property with its owner.

“A poor individual has forgotten his rucksack while travelling on the tram on the Bury line.”

Officers added: “Thankfully the owner of the bag was helpful enough to leave his Community Payback card, his name & address. #thoughtfuldealer #dealornodeal #nodeal#honeyiforgotmydrugs.”

The post received thousands of reactions on Facebook, with one commenter joking: ” Liked and shared I hope I win.”

Another wrote: “This is my sons school bag, please can I collect from the depot? Thanks to whoever handed it in, he is now grounded.”

The force was also praised by commenters for “getting another off the streets”.
