A murder inquiry has been launched after a man died following a stabbing.
Gloucestershire Police said the man was believed to have received a stab wound to the leg during an incident at a flat in Archdeacon Street, Gloucester.
Police were alerted by the ambulance service shortly before 5pm and the man, who has not been identified publicly, was pronounced dead at the scene an hour later.
Archdeacon Street, close to the city centre, is overlooked by Gloucester Cathedral.
