'Stuff No One Told Me' Illustrates The Honest Life Lessons We Often Learn The Hard Way

Some of the most important lessons we learn in life aren't taught in school.

In his blog 'Stuff No One Told Me', illustrator Alex Noriega shares some of the witty, inspiring and comforting pearls of wisdom he's picked up while going about his daily business.

"At some point in 2010 I was going through a crisis due to some issues at work. I decided to start this blog as a way of trying to find what I was doing wrong," he says.

"I wanted to put on paper all that I had learned in life as simple as possible and try to see if what was happening around me made any sense. It didn't."

Noriega may not have had an epiphany, but the result of his musing is still pretty remarkable.
