A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder after a teenager was stabbed to death in broad daylight in Tottenham last week.

Romario Lindo, of Hertford Road, Enfield, was charged this morning following the death of 15-year-old Perry Jordan-Brammer.

Perry was found with multiple stab wounds after being attacked on Willan Road, on the Broadwater Farm estate, at approximately 11.15am on Friday, August 30.

He is believed to have been stabbed whilst a 14-year-old boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – was being robbed of a pair of Nike trainers.

Lindo, who was also charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon, appeared at Highbury Magistrates’ Court this morning.

District Judge Julia Newton said: “The case against you is one that can only be dealt with at the Central Criminal Court and no bail can be granted.

“The other two charges are linked so should go out at the same time.”

Wearing a grey tracksuit, Lindo spoke only to confirm his name, address, and Jamaican nationality.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on September 10.

A 25-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.

Four men, aged between 17 and 24, who were initially arrested as part of the investigation have since been released with no further action.
