The 2016 TV Bafta Award nominations have been revealed, and the likes of Idris Elba, Suranne Jones and Sheridan Smith are all in the running for gongs.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday 8 May, and today (Wednesday 30 March), it was revealed who might be taking home one of the accolades.

It’s not just about serious drama though, and the factual and entertainment categories include nods for the likes of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘Gogglebox’.
