While Monday night’s I’m A Celebrity was all about Jordan North tackling his fear of snakes in the latest Bushtucker Trial, Vernon Kay also served up a moment that had viewers chuckling.
The former T4 presenter became one of the first stars to use the new shower in the castle, where the ITV show is being hosted this year.
However, it seemed to be just a little bit small for 6ft 3in Vernon, causing everyone – including the I’m A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin – to make the same joke.
Let’s just say it involved a certain scene from the Will Ferrell Christmas classic Elf...
Vernon and Jordan had tag-teamed using the shower, which requires another celebrity to keep water pumping out of a watering can above.
The scene also provided some amusement for Vernon’s wife Tess Daly, who said she “saw a bromance starting” between the pair as she shared a clip on Instagram.
Both Vernon and Jordan will be taking on Tuesday night’s trial Frights Of The Round Table alongside Beverley Callard, which will see them attempting to eat a concoction of nasties in an attempt to win food for camp.
