If you donā€™t have plans for the upcoming long weekend, itā€™s time to head to Yorkshire. The fifth edition of the Tour de Yorkshire is here ā€“ from today until Sunday 5 May, you can watch elite cyclists zoom past at breathtaking speeds.

This yearā€™s cycling extravaganza is bigger and better than ever, with an extra day added to increase the womenā€™s race from one to two days, taking place on 3 and 4 May. The menā€™s race starts on 2 May and ends on 5 May.

But you donā€™t even need to be a big cycling fan to enjoy the event.

The route winds through Yorkshireā€™s picturesque countryside...
