A 41-year-old old woman has appeared in court charged with kidnapping a baby boy.
Kelly Mahon, from Telford in Shropshire, was before the town's magistrates for a 10-minute hearing on Friday.
Sitting in the dock wearing grey jogging bottoms and a matching sweater she spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address.
Mahon, of John Broad Avenue, is accused of unlawfully abducting either by force or fraud the baby from its home in the Arleston area of the town on Wednesday.
The child was found "safe and well" a few hours later, according to prosecutor Kelly Crowe.
Mahon was remanded in custody by magistrates who said the case would be heard at Shrewsbury Crown Court on March 25.
Chairman of the bench Nigel Atkinson told her: "We're going to remand you to the crown court and it'll be heard on March 25 this year."
West Mercia Police confirmed on Thursday that no further action is being taken against a 53-year-old woman who was also arrested in connection with the investigation.
