Over the last year I've been spending much time questioning how I feel about: love, happiness, friendship, image, career and relationships. Over the course of my travels I hope to discover how different people globally feel about these topics.
My first stop off on my travels was in Amsterdam. The city is famous for many things including the legalisation of weed, cheese, and it's Red Light District. One of Amsterdam's most famous sex clubs - Casa Rosso kindly let me interview one of the girls, and that is how I spent my night with a stripper.
Sephora is a 33 year old dancer in the Red Light District. She's originally from Spain, and embodied a young Brigitte Bardot with a very youthful personality.
LOVE
1. Have you ever been in love? What did it feel like?
I've been in love one time in my whole life. It was an intense experience for my age because I was only 22 at the time. But it came at a price, when you are really in love, it can crash down so quickly. Love feels like you're living your life with a double intense feeling, for example when you're watching a movie alone it's nice but you can't talk to anybody about it. When you're in love you want to share every moment with them.
2. What kind of love do you think is the strongest?
Parent and child for sure. I don't have kids yet but I want a family at some point, to live this experience. I'm lucky because I have a support family, and I know that the most important person in my mother's life is me - this is unconditional love.
HAPPINESS
1. What makes you happy?
Freedom. We all have our own personal freedom goals. In this crazy world, and this may seem like a superficial answer, but to be free you need money.
2. If happiness was a colour what would it be?
Pink! Pink is feminine, it's happy and it's beautiful.
FRIENDSHIP
1. What's the most important quality you look for in a friend?
Trust, I need to trust my friends.
2 How do you think friendships change over the years?
Friendships grow up, relations need time to evolve and mature.
IMAGE
1. Image plays a crucial role in society, why do you think this is?
There is a double motive. It would be a lie for someone to say that it is not important to them at all. I mean look how sexy Obama is! To be an actor, politician, model, artist etc, in this day and age being attractive is a key factor.
2. Describe your image.
I don't think I look my age (she doesn't). My image is very important to my career, it's how I make my money. No one asks if you're clever, or have a university degree, they are more concerned with how you look.
CAREER
1. How did you get into your career?
After university I started working in a bank and I hated it, it was too monotonous. I ended up touring around Spain getting jobs as a dancer, then I came to Amsterdam and make a live porno, after that I started working in Casa Rosso. It looks crazy to some people but for me it's a nice life.
2. If you could have any job for the day what would it be?
I would want to be Madonna, for me she's an unbelievable artist.
RELATIONSHIPS
1. What makes a relationship last?
Same as friendships, to trust someone. You can't stay with someone you don't feel comfortable with.
2. What's your strongest quality in a relationship?
Exactly what I ask for - trust. I'm in single I am like a wild animal, but when I am with a boyfriend I want to create something special with them, something strong.
