Paris, the city of love, lights and croissants. I was there for a week to enjoy the food, romance and soak up everything my favourite city had to offer. During my time there I met a transsexual who was pre-op. I've always been fascinated by transsexuals, and I was intrigued to find out what Mademoiselle XY thought about love, happiness and her image.

1. Have you ever been in love? What did it feel like?
Yes, I've been in love. Each time was different. But there was always passion, fun, laughter and tears. So I decided to not fall in love again. But it's hard, as I fall in love everyday with a different man. You fall in love with a smile or a gaze that your heart keeps forever but you restrain yourself because you know how it will end up.
HAPPINESS
1. What makes you happy?
Sleeping with someone makes me happy.
2. If happiness was a colour what would it be?
Red. Like the wine I like to drink with my lovers at night in winter, or red for the erotic connotation as the lipstick I put on to highlight my mouth.
FRIENDSHIP
1. What's the most important quality you look for in a friend?
Loyalty and honesty are very important to me.
2 How do you think friendships change over the years?
Friendship never ends if you are real friends. But over the years, your life may lead you somewhere else and you may have less time to devote to the ones you love. I have a few friends that I do love. They know who they are.

1. Image plays a crucial role in society, why do you think this is?
When you meet someone, you first see the person with your eyes before you talk to them. People deem you by your look and behaviour, what you deliberately choose to show people (contrary to your soul, if you have one).
Even when you talk over the phone with an unknown person, you always try to build up the image of this person according to the voice. and you're very often disappointed!
Finally, I guess that the media are also responsible for conveying the idea that women must be beautiful, healthy and fit!

1. How did you get into your career (She works at a feminist bar in Paris)?
By chance. Opportunities and self interests.
2. If you could have any job for the day what would it be?
I would do modern dance.

1. What makes a relationship last?
Honesty, passion and complicity.
2. What's your strongest quality in a relationship?
I'm definitely loyal but in my opinion having sex with someone is not cheating!
