On The Streets II With Faith47, CYRCLE, BEST EVER, Jaz, David de la Mano, Invader

This week's roundup of notable walls reveals a balanced overview of visual representations of some divine and human aspects on a rather large scale.

This week's roundup of notable walls reveals a balanced overview of visual representations of some divine and human aspects on a rather large scale. Leading off is artist Faith47, who in response to the invitation of the Dulwich Picture Gallery Project in London, painted her take on the old master Guido Reni's masterpiece 'Europa and the Bull'. Named 'Europa And The Winged Bird', the mural takes the mythical theme of Europe's abduction into a less aggressive, gentler direction, leaving space for new interpretation.

Other works come from CYRCLE in Warsaw, PichiAvo in Werchter, Belgium, BEST EVER in Limerick, JAZ in Graz, David de la Mano in Villa Soriano, Uruguay, Space Invader in Paris and Icy & Sot in Chicago.

Well-known for the exploring classical symbols and imagery of power and reign, LA based collective CYRCLE do not disappoint and deliver a new thought-provoking large-scale mural in Warsaw, Poland, named 'We Are Born Naked and Free!' Image via the artists.

Spanish duo PichiAvo reinvent the classic beauty loud and clear. Their newest addition to the North West Walls Street Art Festival in Werchter is a brilliant modern homage on some of the Ancient Greek Gods. Photo via StreetArtNews.

Intricate aerosol realism that is almost close to divine is what we get from this new wall, painted beautifully by London duo BEST EVER in Limerick. See for yourselves...

We have been following the work of Argentinian JAZ for a while now. We are really taken by the uniqueness of his characters, their genuine strength and vibrancy.

Explorer of human behaviour David de la Mano, takes a further, deeper look into the often complicated relation humans - nature, and delivers 'Pampa' - a painting project on a house in the middle of the Uruguayan countryside. See detailed images of 'Pampa' below. All photos - Andres Boero Madrid, courtesy of David de la Mano.

Space Invader has been hitting the walls of Paris hard. This new 8-bit pixel portrait of Pablo Picasso has appeared in close proximity to the Musee Picasso.

Our roundup finishes with this playful Icy And Sot wall in Chicago, bringing the summer vibes with it. The work is painted in support of the Healthier Americans Drink Up initiative, to encourage children to drink water more often. Image via StreetArtNews.
