Occupy London: Polly Toynbee Hits Back On Sky News At 'Idle Feckless Useless People' Claim

'Idle Feckless Useless People'

Occupy protestors might be getting a hard time from parts of the media, but the Guardian’s Polly Toynbee has been hailed as a beacon of support after battering the Taxpayers’ Alliance on Live television.

Going head to head with the TPA’s Jonathan Isaby on Sky News she told him that protestors were not “idle feckless useless people”.

“If you stood for the Taxpayers then you’d be out there with them.”

Isaby had been defending capitalism for “doubling people’s wealth” but Toynbee was having none of it.

“How dare you say if they should be working. A million young people are out of work and a lot of them are graduates, a lot of them are willing to work as interns for nothing at all,” she said.

"This guy is a moron for ignorantly dissmissing [sic] the reasons for these protests," said one comment on YouTube.

That’s you told, Mr Isaby.
