Louise Mensch 'Hits The Roof' Over Michael Gove's Wife's Column

What Happens If You Compare Louise Mensch With Jordan?

What woman would object if a national newspaper columnist said they looked 15 years younger than their age and possessed a "smooth face", "clear complexion" and a "lithe" body?

Well, if you were backbench MP Louise Mensch and the columnist in question was Sarah Vine, wife of Conservative cabinet minister Michael Gove, it might raise an eyebrow.

Mensch reportedly "hit the roof" after Vine, in a column headlined "Are you a Jordan or a Mensch?" called her "pure Made in Chelsea" and remarked on her "pert but modest-sized breasts."

According to Vine, there are now three types of women in the world. The MP, the glamour model, or women like her:

Now you’re either a Jordan, a Mensch or, like me, an unenhanced untermensch.

The Tory MP allegedly complained to the prime minister himself about Vine's article in the Times.

Downing Street have refused to comment on talks between Cameron and his MPs, and Mensch has remained tight-lipped about the incident.
