Flip Flop
James Cameron has now returned to the surface after his solo trip to the Mariana Trench

James Cameron's solo mission to the Mariana Trench, Earth's deepest point, captured the imagination of people around the globe over the weekend.

Armed with lights and cameras, the film director of Hollywood's Avatar and Titanic, has trawled the ocean's bed for his latest footage, soon to be released in an exclusive documentary.

But will real-life eclipse imagination? What did Cameron find in the unexplored depths of our mysterious ocean?

Oh sure, James Cameron can tweet from the bottom of the ocean, but I try to tweet from my bathroom at work and can barely get a signal.

As @DeepChallenge and @jimcameron live tweeted the submersive mission, other Twitter users guessed at what the film director may have found, offering more, ahem, frivolous, responses to the primeval questions.

What do you think Cameron found at the deepest point of the Earth? Leave your answers in the comments to be included in the slideshow.
