Twitter Jokes Of The Week: Week 13 (Of 52)

Welcome to this week's round-up of funny tweets! And what a week it's been. Pasties are set to be taxed, first-class stamps are set to be more expensive, and as a result of panic-buying petrol, jerrycans have been in the news for the first time since 1940 - despite 'jerrycan' being completely offensive to all jerrys. Sorry: Germans.

Meanwhile, in the world of showbiz, there was the return of Mad Men, the launch of The Voice and the news that James Cameron had, incredibly, reached depths lower than Piranha II: The Spawning.

Below are just a jerrycanful of our favourite funny jokes, puns and silly tweets about some of those subjects - and many, many more. Oh, and if you're a fan of the Twitter sensation that is @WeirdHorse - and heaven knows we are - trot over here to read our exclusive interview with him.

Time to invent the pastry-less pasty. I only ever like the filling anyway!

I hope he enjoys it to make up for the fact I can't afford one.

He reminds me of a pasty I had recently: mostly upper crust no content, and luke warm.
