Our American cousins over at Huffington Post US Comedy are excellent at producing lists of Funny Women You Should Be Following On Twitter. So we thought it was about time we did what Brits do best - catch on to something much later than Americans - and produce our very own.
The result? Fifty of the funniest British (and Irish) women on Twitter - as chosen by us and recommended by you. The list, incidentally, already assumes that you already have the Funny Women On UK Twitter Starter Pack - which includes such famous tweeters as @sarahmillican75, @josielong, @rebeccafront, @victoriacoren, @caitlinmoran, @sueperkins, @mermhart, @emmak67, @andiosho, @isysuttie, @susancalman, @wiggywalsh, @gracedent and @realsharhorgan.
We realise we're bound to have missed some out, and can only apologise for that. In our defence, if we'd made it '80 Funny Women To Follow On Twitter', no one would make it through to the end - at least, not without contracting RSI - so instead, do please tell us in the comments below who you think should be on our next list.
