Man Critically Injured In Train Station Stabbing

A man has been left with life-threatening injuries after he was believed to have been stabbed in a train station.

Kent Police were called to Tunbridge Wells station in Vale Road at about 5.30pm on Thursday after receiving reports that a man had been seriously injured.

The unidentified man was flown by air ambulance to a London hospital, where he is now being treated for serious injuries, police said.

Inspector Adam Ball said: "This is an ongoing incident and we are still trying to establish exactly what happened.

"But I would urge anyone who saw the incident or has information that could help our investigation, to contact us immediately on 101, quoting the reference number 19-1363."

A 30-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident and are in police custody.
