While the rest of the world is piling on the calories, HuffPost UK Lifestyle has been mulling over the coming health fest post-Christmas.

From quitting smoking to joining the gym, the New Year is associated with new beginnings and if you're already feeling that January can't come soon enough, here's some inspiration.
In order to kick-start her own system, HuffPost blogger Leslie Goldman recently turned to David Grotto and his healthy eating book "Best Food You Can Eat" to pull together the top healthy foods in 2013.
"Beans, spinach, salmon and kefir always pop up on the 'Best of' food lists, but the more I researched, the more I saw liver coming up over and over," says David. "and there's no better iron-rich food."
