Raymond Blanc 'Announces' Winner Of British Bake Off A Day Early

Raymond Blanc has got himself into a pickle by apparently "announcing" the winner of the Great British Bake Off – a day before the final is televised.

After the chef sent out a less-than-cryptic tweet indicating the winner of the hit show was (make up your own mind from the Tweet), he received a barrage of criticism, with one even calling the Patisserie specialist an “idiot”.

Even judge Paul Hollywood tweeted his surprise at Blanc’s indiscretion, which the Michelin-star chef put down to English being his second language.
